foggy comfort

This photo was taken in Nova Scotia, Canada where my husband and I recently enjoyed our honeymoon.  We had stopped along the lighthouse route to take some photos of the ocean when I spotted a little lake on the other side of the road, beautifully covered in a light fog.  Usually fog evokes feelings of aloneness for me, but this image makes me feel comforted for some reason.  How does it make you feel?  What images evoke comfort or aloneness for you?
